Eyktan and the House of Whispers

Last session, the party made made the decision to head towards the nearest city, Eotix. Based on Eyktan's decription, the city was controlled by the House of Dust and would have many amenities that would be interesting to the party. And so, the move on.

On the way there, the party was ambushed by the same mage they let live in Makx. During the start of the battle, the party was hit with a fireball and Loran was killed. Angered by this, Eyktan wanted to kill the mage responsible after the battle. After some manhandling and persuasion, the party managed to calm Eyktan long enough to garner information from him.

The mage called himself Nari and he revealed that his master wishes to meet the party and guarantees safe passage. However, he cannot say the same for Eyktan. He also told the party to beware of Eyktan. He is not as he seems. He is a manipulator, a slaver, and has done many worse things to Nari and people like Nari. In the end, the party knocked Nari unconcious and walked away.

However, as the sessions wraps, Eyktan said that he forgot his crossbow back at the ambush and returned to get it back. A shot was fired. And all is done.
