The Next Generation

Last session, the Grand Melee has commenced. Usually, fancy magics and machine are used as the enemy for the competition but this time, the party volunteered to become the villian for the competition.

Using a combination of illusory magics and their own prowess, the party acted as agents of the Beast from Far Beyond and defeated all the incoming adventurer. The organizer plans to send in a more powerful adventurer to defeat the party but the party had their own plan.

The party swiftly defeated the cocky incoming party and called out to the crowd asking for anyone that is brave enough to go against them. That was when the children in the audience stood up in droves to drive away the party.

After the Melee, the party thanked the participants and shared the prize with all the participants, giving special prizes to individuals that caught their attention. The participants and the organizer thanked the party for a unique ending to this year's Darkdowner Festival.

Later that night, Kaine awoke with a start to find Victoria in his room. She persuaded Kaine to stay but Kaine, knowing something was wrong left to deal with the matter.
