The party managed to land themselves inside the Cachura Prison after trying to be smuggled into the city. However, it wasn't long before they tried to escape.
Thanks to an external commotion, it provided the party with the opportunity to break out of their cells and help a couple others to break out of their cells as well. One of them was a powerful mage who has been in Dinas Fenhur for 20 years.
With this help, they were teleported into a white marble room with gold accents with a single hardwood door. The door slams open as two guards stops their progress. However, the old man only needs to show three embedded crystals on his neck, to shock the guards as one of them run off for a superior officer. The party then walked over to the nearest verandah to see the city they are in.
Off session, you asked about the city. He replies that you are in Settlement 2M or commonly known as Wollyd to the people. The city is within the borders of the Sun Empire of Merodraeth, a militaristic nation with a penchant for expansion.
As you talked you fgure out that many things require permits here including the use of magic. The old man, now known as Desmond suggested the party to not reveal their identity as spellcasters or be forced to get a Sun's Promise permit or be sent to the Sunset Isles.
