Last session, the party prepared for Camata's mission by asking around town for more information on the attack on Camata's caravan. Kaine contacted a local info broker. Ignis asked the local shopkeep. Akaal tried to see if there are any rebellion members in the area. While Kitiara and J-5, went to a local tavern.

It was there when the party found out about the new adventurer rating system. Interested to take part, the party got together and participated in a test to figure out their Challenge Rating. In addition, to being members of the Rajaan Indataja Adventurer's Guild, the party got some additional information about their targets.

However, the gold mine of information when the information broker Kaine contacted returned with some additional information. Through convoluted language, the party figured out that the bandits that attacked the carriage also has control of basilisks. Armed with these knowledge, the party bid their farewell and prepared for the upcoming trip.
