Second Chance

Last Session, the party continued with their plan to change the future. First, they joined Caleb to destroy a Fallen nest. As the day gets later, the party decided to have a quick nap because some of the can't even keep their eyes open. In the meantime, Kaine enjoying some private time with the enemy, while monitoring her at the same time, of course.

The next day, all of them headed to the academy to help look for the Contra Bomb. The Blue Rose. However, time is running out. It is close to 9 and the bomb is nowhere to be found. The lets Maestro Kano know that in the future, the bomb erupted at 10. Without any time to lose, Kano forced an evacuation despite orders from his superiors.

Half of the party helped with the evacuation while the other half went to meet Caleb who has crashed hard from a whole night of researching. They woke up Caleb and regrouped at a graveyard far away from the academy. There was confusion, chaos and anger amongst the crowd as they try to acertain what is going on. Even the party wasn't sure what to do until suddenly they hear gunshots at the city gates. The Fallen are assaulting the city.

With no time to lose, Caleb took charge and began commanding the able-bodied civillians to organize a defense. A city of Maestro and Academics is not going down without a fight. And then, Caleb turned to the party and asked for them to go to the Pits and deal with the Joy of Hunger. He is exhausted and will only be a burden. "You're basically one of the strongest fighters in the city at the moment." he said. And so, with Maestro Kano, the eight of them rushed towards the academy to hopefully end this once and for all.
