Defeated

Last session, the party was just able to escape Makx via Gate by Victoria. The party was just able to get their bearings when suddenly another Gate opened up behind them. From the portal came the Deitrichs, or at least what remained, and this timethey are focused on taking Ignis down.

The party splits up to tend to the various characters coming out of the gate. Kaine, while guarding the gate, was met with another Deitrich that he has never seen before. This person seem to have no control over their body. Kaine recalls the portrait of the person though: Heinz Deitrich, Kaine' father.

The battle rages on with more and more of the Deitrichs falling. However, Ignis' protection from death is slowly failing as well. After a failed dispel magic, Ignis decided to keep herself alive with a healing spell.. While she was distracted and seeing the tide has turned, Ami Maloa raised a finger and casted "Power Word Kill"
