The Red Woods

Last session, the party finally reached a Safe Zone to recover. While resting, they observed a few curious figures: a young girl weeping over a pile of treasure and a trio of aspiring adventurers.

The peace of the night was shattered by a nightmare. Celeste was haunted by a vision of Cora murdering the young adventurers, only to realize the killer was a figure she recognized. Meanwhile, Cora heard a whisper echoing from Jace, providing cryptic clues on how to find him.

Refreshed but unsettled, the party left the Rest Stop the next morning. Their journey led the party into a surreal landscape of red grass, ceramic trees, and porcelain insects. Finding the path blocked, they scouted the area and discovered a man horrifically embedded into one of the ceramic trunks. The sight pushed Celeste into a cold rage, and the party bring him down, finally granting him the mercy of a proper burial.
