Unexpected Farewells

Last session, the party completed their preperation by asking for a meeting with Lord Night to explain their situation. Lord Night agrees to meet them at Makx along with the Deitrichs. Expecting a trap, the party prepared with equipment that may be useful in case they are ambushed.

As they are getting ready to leave for Makx, Lucas said that he will not be joining them. His partner, Elisud was left somewhere in Lacrodad and he will not leave her alone. Hearing that, Kitiara wanted to go with him and mend their broken relationship. After failing to persuade Kitiara to stay, the party agreed this was what's best for Kitiara and had one last lunch together.

However, during the lunch, the party was discovered by Kiara, somehow. Lam fired the first shot, and a battle was underway. They managed to beat Kiara only to find out that Fritz was watching them the entire time. Kiara was revived as one of her red monstrous forms while Fritz managed to kill Kaine. But before he could leave, an enraged J5, shot an explosive spell Fritz and he joins the battle.

It was a hard fought battle, but in the end Kitiara managed to take down Kiara and piledrive Fritz into oblivion.
