New Faces

Last session, the party was able to find a moment of reprieve in Yoa. They were trying to read and discuss the contents of the Emperor's journey when they were suddenly ambushed by a couple of changelings. The party tried to escape but with being trapped within a wall of force and the poison affecting them, they are at a disadvantage.

That was when a couple of people appears in front of the cafe and began helping them. One of them, a familliar face: Kitiara. She returned to the party when earthquakes that shook the world began to worry the people in her part of the world. The other two: Akaal and Dost. Akaal was a member of a resistance group that worked against the Empire. Meanwhile, Dost is a strange man with strange qualities he prefers not to discuss.

The party was able to defeat the changelings and surrender them to the Judges of the city for their punishment. Surprisingly, the party was greeted with a letter from the Betrayer King, welcoming them to the city and bid them to sign a temporary guest contract to ensure their safety within the city. So, while taking advantage of the security, the party plans their next move.
