Past Burns

Last session, the party engaged in battle with Ash, or so they thought. The party easily dispatched the Ash which was revealed to be a simulacrum of himself. In his last words, he invited the party deeper into the tower because his real self is waiting.

The party went down past a lava fall and a guardian spellbook to find a person bound in chains. The person introduces himself as Solomon, a member of Solus Umbra that was accused to be the one killing Burns Embers, Ash's father. The party freed him in exchange for information on Project Saiba and Project Twelve. Solomon agrees and leaves the tower himself.

Finally, the party went one level deeper, after wasting a couple of spell slots to open a door. They arrived in an empty concrete room when suddenly it fills up with water.
