Like Cats and Deitrichs

Last session, the party finishes up their business in the city. They had to convince Fenton and Kano that the fight is not something they should be a part of. They told the two that the party will deal with it themselves. Fenton agrees but he tells the party that the moment this becomes a problem to the city, he will step in.

The party then Transported via Plants to the lone tree in the Fields of Light and Fire. The party made it to Makx and began the meeting early the next day. During the meeting, Lord Night took Hayleigh on a trip around town to evaluate her. Meanwhile, the party will have a little chat with the Deitrichs.

That was when the party discovered that Kiara and Fritz were not dead yet. In fact, they look healthier than ever. They talked for a bit and then the matter of Kaine's history came up. That was when Fritz regale them about the tale how Kaine's family was killed one by one. Kaine and Hayleigh only survived when their mother casted and Improvised Spell to save both of them.

After the meeting, Hayleigh was returned to them, safe but shaken. Lord Night tells Kaine in private that she will be trouble for the city. However, he is willing to look this over if Kaine agrees to watch over his sister. Else, the Deitrichs will have to clean up this mess.
