The World Leader's Summit

Last session, the World Leaders' Summit continues. The party was able to get a short break after the attempted assassination of the Emperor as brunch is served and the party was able to calm the room a little bit before resuming the event.

Next, comes a barrage of questions from the attendees. Some aimed at improving the party's standing while others aimed to take the party's points down. However, they were able to defend themselves until the delegates begin asking for the Emperor's view on the matter.

The Emperor stands and silence engulfs the room. He explained the rationale of his action and how mistakes by his underlings may have caused this issue in the first place. He also admitted to the world that he is most likely a piece of the Beast. This got a reaction from the crowd but the Emperor's justification makes it enticing. Like necromancy and divine magic, he proposes that the power of Fallen is to be mastered instead of feared.

In the end, both sides agree on an observation council to monitor the Empire's Fallen Research and a guarantee to end all hostilities against the party. Finally, the party has guaranteed peace with the Empire. Right?
