Cold Awakening

Last session, the party defeated Lord Lukas Knight, one of the individuals in the city infected by teal colored crystals. How they did it was a mystery. The current theory is that some of the weapons found here is able to take them out.

They get the chance to test their theory when the gate is covered by a wall of ice and inside the ice is a woman infected by the teal crystal, begging for help. Despite everything, the party greeted her with open arms and found out that she was a traveller like them but from 500 years past.

The party performed a painful procedure on her, Ashta, to extract as much of the teal crystal from her and then, freed her from her binds. The party knocked down the ice wall and finally reached the City Center. Amongst the rubble, the party found another one of those small shards.

By viewing the shard, the party sees Ashta being pinned to the wall when Paragon is still alive and well. Now, they all stare at Ashta in disbelief
