RUST Appliance

In addition to the items described in the Players Handbook, modern times have introduced many useful RUST based items that are commonly used:

Arma Infusion

Infusions are used to augment a RUST cartridge loaded into an arma. As a free action while reloading an arma, you may attach this infusion in between the cartridge and the arma.

Tactical Infusion.10 SGP This infusion comes in slashing, bludgeoning or piercing variant, chosen when you purchase this object. When loaded, it changes the damage type of the attack to chosen damage type until the cartridge is changed.

Elemental Infusion.20 SGP This infusion comes in fire, cold, acid, poison or lightning variant, chosen when you purchase this object. When loaded, it changes the damage type of the attack to chosen damage type until the cartridge is changed.

Exotic Infusion.30 SGP This infusion comes in force, radiant, necrotic or thunder variant, chosen when you purchase this object. When loaded, it changes the damage type of the attack to chosen damage type until the cartridge is changed.

Explosive Infusion.10 SGP The next attack made with the arma gains the Explosive(5) property.

Laser Infusion.10 SGP The next attack made with the arma gains the Laser(20) property.

Buckshot Infusion.10 SGP The next attack made with the arma gains the Spread(15) property.

Wall Infusion.50 SGP The next attack made with the arma doesn't deal damage and creates a wall of stone. The wall is 3 inches thick and is 5-foot-by-5-foot. If the wall cuts through a creature's space when it appears, the creature is pushed to one side of the wall (your choice). The wall has 13 AC and 10 hit points.

Biotic Infusion.50 SGP The next attack you make heals the target creature by a number of hit points equal to 1d8 points.

Flash Infusion.10 SGP The next attack you make with the arma doesn't deal damage. Instead, the creature must make a DC 13 dexterity saving throw or be blinded until the start of their next turn. If the arma deals damage in an area, all creature within range are affected instead.

Sonic Infusion.10 SGP The next attack you make with the arma doesn't deal damage. Instead, the creature must make a DC 13 constitution saving throw or be deafened until the start of their next turn. If the arma deals damage in an area, all creature within range are affected instead.

Concussive Infusion.10 SGP The next attack you make with the arma doesn't deal damage. Instead, the creature must make a DC 13 strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the arma deals damage in an area, all creature within range are affected instead.

Rooting Infusion.30 SGP When loaded, your attack do not deal damage until you swap cartridge. Instead, the creature must make a DC 8 dexterity saving throw or be grappled. The creature may repeat the saving throw as an action. Each subsequent attacks made with the same infusion increases the DC by 1 until the creature fails the saving throw. In which case the DC resets to 8.

Tranquilizer Infusion.30 SGP When loaded, your attack do not deal damage until you swap cartridge. Instead, the creature must make a DC 8 dexterity saving throw or fall unconcious. The creature wakes up when it takes damage or if a creature spends an action to wake it up. Each subsequent attacks made with the same infusion increases the DC by 1 until the creature fails the saving throw. In which case the DC resets to 8.

Paralyzing Infusion.30 SGP When loaded, your attack do not deal damage until you swap cartridge. Instead, the creature must make a DC 8 strength saving throw or be paralyzed until the start of their next turn. Each subsequent attacks made with the same infusion increases the DC by 1 until the creature fails the saving throw. In which case the DC resets to 8.

Communication

Communication is essential especially when you live outside of a city. There are many RUST appliance that has been created that allows people to communicate even without spells.

Sender.5 SGP is the de facto way to communicate in Home. Each sender is identified with a keyword. As an action, you can send a 20 word message to a sender within 1 mile range that you know the keyword of. Alternatively, as an action, you can connect your sender to another sender within range. While connected, you may talk to each other. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, its' range increases to 6 miles for 1 hour.

Smart Sender.50 SGP has the features of a sender and also acts as an interface that can connect to a city's public network. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, instead of increasing the range, you can instead use the services provided by the city's public network like cab hailing, map service, library service etc. The service provided differs from city to city.

Repeater Jammer.30 SGP stops all communication between RUST appliances within range. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, all RUST appliance within 60ft range cannot communicate with any other RUST appliance. This is blocked by 1ft stone wall, 1 inch of wood or a thin layer of lead.

Data

To create your own simple appliances, you can put together multiple device that can read, modify and display information.

Shard.5 SGP A shard is a piece of RUST that is able to store information. The amount of data a shard is able to store depends on the size of the shard itself. A shard can connect to most device with the use of adapters.

Recorder.100 SGP A recorder will be able to record video and audio of the event it is pointed at and store it in a connected shard. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, it is able to record up to 1 hour.

Universal Receiver.20 SGP The universal receiver is a small tablet that can show RUST waves from other object. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, the device is activated for 1 hour. As an action, you can point the device at an object and it will show which device it is actively communicating with.

Illujector.500 SGP is able to project a 3 dimensional illusory image stored in a data shard over a 10ft by 10ft by 10ft area. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, it is able to project the visual for 10 minutes. A creature can discern the projected image with a DC 13 Intelligence (Investigation) check.

Illuboard.30 SGP is able to display an illusory image stored in a data shard over a small 10 by 7 inch board. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, it will be bale to display the data for 1 hour.

Data Terminal.40 SGP is a small machine that can be used to read and write data. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, the appliance will be able to run for 24 hours,

Medical Tool

The progress in technology have also brought advancements in medical technology. While the fundamental healing techniques have not changed, the processes have been made cheaper thanks to RUST appliances.

Autopotion.100 SGP You can spend 1 minute to load a RUST cartridge and pour a vial of potion, decoction or drug into this device. When your health drops below half your maximum, it will automatically apply the potion and expend the RUST cartridge.

Cryogas.50 SGP You can spend 1 minute to spray this gas onto a recently deceased creature. This protects the deceased from decay for 24 hours. This extends the time limit on raising the target from the dead, since days spent under the cryogas don't count against the time limit of Spells such as Raise Dead.

RUST patch.15 SGP As an action, you can apply a rust patch onto your body. This will reduce the level of addiction for 8 hours. Multiple patches do not stack.

Modern Instruments

RUST Guitar.100 SGP is a famous instruments amongst the underground band scene. The built-in RUST system allows for the device to be compact without sacrificing acoustic performance. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, the appliance is able to produce noise that can be heard up to 300ft.

RUST Keyboard.100 SGP is favored for being able to produce unique sounds depending on the Shard installed. The built-in RUST system allows for the device to be compact without sacrificing acoustic performance. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, the appliance is able to produce noise that can be heard up to 300ft.

RUST Drum.100 SGP is commonly used by travelling bands as their smaller sized copared to a full set drum allows them to be used on-the-go. The built-in RUST system allows for the device to be compact without sacrificing acoustic performance. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, the appliance is able to produce noise that can be heard up to 300ft.

Sensors

Sensors are simple RUST appliance that takes inforamtion about the real world and convert it to data. They can be used to activate a different appliance or connected to a terminal to be read.

Movement Senso.1 SGP detects movement happening nearby. You can spend 1 minute setting up the device to detect movement in front or around it as well as connecting it to a shard to store information, a terminal to read information or an appliance to activate. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, it will be able to detect movement for the next 24 hours.

RUST Emitter.5 SGP produce an easily detectible RUST signal. As an action, you can activate the appliance. It will continously emit a fain RUST signal that can be detected within 30ft for 24 hours.

Imprint Sensor.40 SGP detects the texture of the object place against it. You can spend 1 minute setting up the device to detect the texture of the object on it as well as connecting it to a shard to store information, a terminal to read information or an appliance to activate. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, it will be able to detect the texture of the objects placed on it for the next 24 hours

Gas Sensor.30 SGP detects the gas nearby. You can spend 1 minute setting up the device to detect gas in a ft radius around it as well as connecting it to a shard to store information, a terminal to read information or an appliance to activate. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, it will be able to detect neaby gas for the next 24 hours.

Security Scanner.500 SGP is able to read the Security Class of an system. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, you can spend an action to point the scanner at a system to know its Security Class for the next minute.

Medi Scanner.500 SGP is able to assist with medical diagnosis. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, you can spend an action to point the scanner at a creature to gain common ailments and also suggested treatments.

Tools

The following are various items that allows someone to perform specific tasks that are too complicated to perform without it.

RUST Kit.50 SGP A useful tool to work with RUST dependent systems. It includes tools to print RUST circuits onto surfaces, remove RUST circuits, circuit simulator and output reader to help with any RUST related engineering.

X-Kit.50 SGP An illegal tool created to take advantage of unsecure RUST systems. It includes tools to tamper with RUST circuits and to produce false signals from long range.

Utilities

The following are items that can be used to aid you in performing mundane tasks more effectively:

Minitorch.1 SGP is a small RUST appliance that is used to create fire. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, you can use an action to activate the device for the next 24 hours. When activated, it creates a small flame that emits 10ft dim light/

Light Tube.5 SGP is a tube that can produce light. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, you can use an action to turn this item on or off for the next 24 hours. When it is on, it emits a cone bright light up to 20ft away and an additional 20ft of dim light. This object may be attached to any metal surface.

RUST Stick.0.2 SGP As an action, you can break this item and it will emit 10ft bright light and an additional 10ft of dim light. The object will create the illumination for 10 minutes before fading out.

Gravbola.10 SGP A gravbola is a tool utilises the gravity RUST to capture and detain targets. As an action, you can throw this bola to a medium or smaller creature within 30ft. The creature must perform a DC 13 Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) check to avoid being grappled. Alternatively, this bola may also be applied on a grappled creature to restrain them. The creature may use their action to try to break free.

Breathing Mask.15 SGP As an action, you can don this mask. While wearing the mask, you are immune to any nonmagical gasseous effects.

JadeTM Shard.15 SGP A specific type of shard produced by the Jade Movement to store SGP in place of carrying actual coins. Each JadeTM Shard can store up to 1000SGP.

Binocular.1 SGP You can use the binoculars to enlarge objects in the distance. When looking through the binoculars you can see objects as 8 times larger than normal.

DV Goggle.1500 SGP is a goggle that grants darkvision using RUST. You can don the goggle as an action. When a RUST cartridge is loaded, you can use the goggles to gain darkvision up to 30ft for 10 minutes.

RS Goggle.15 SGP You can use the goggles to highlight nearby DUST appliance even through walls. The goggle can penetrate most barriers, but is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

Vehicles

The modern day has brought many innovation to transportation. While the humble horse is still being used, modern technology also enabled the creation of RSUT carriages or ruscar that can transport people vast distances using RUST.

Ruscar2800 SGP or RUST Carriages are the standard vehicle used for transport within the city. The vehicle can fit 4 passengers comfortably and is most used vehicle class in the world.

Rusvan4000 SGP or RUST Caravan is designed for cargo instead of passengers. It comes with an open or closed back design that can fit at least 6 passengers.

Rusbike500 SGP or RUST bicycle is deisgned as a portable vehicle to be used by 1 or 2 passengers. The lack of protection may make this a less favorable vehicle when travelling outside of cities.
